Psychotherapy
Something brought you here...
So, you’ve looked up a therapist’s website. That probably means there’s something you need to talk about. Maybe you feel anxious, depressed, isolated, or lonely. Perhaps you just feel restless. You may not even be sure what the something is, you just know something’s off.
Whatever brings you here, having someone listen without judgement can be a powerful thing. Well, that’s what therapy is.
More about psychotherapy
Psychodynamic psychotherapy looks beyond immediate symptoms to the emotions, experiences and patterns that shape how we think, feel, and relate to others.
We’re talking about the unconscious here. The stuff buried deep inside that you won’t be aware of. I know, it sounds daunting, but put simply, therapy offers a calm, confidential space to explore your thoughts and feelings.
It is open-ended talking therapy, which means we have time to understand what is going on beneath the surface and to work at a pace that is right for you.
Invest in yourself
Starting therapy can feel like a huge step, both emotionally and financially, I won’t lie it will be a challenge and you will need to commit. But one thing you can be sure of, therapy is an investment in you.
That’s why I place great importance on creating a space where you feel genuinely heard and respected. My approach is warm, thoughtful, and empathic.
Let’s work together
About me
I’m a psychodynamic psychotherapist. I trained at WPF Therapy and the British Psychotherapy Foundation, gaining a clinical qualification. I’ve been working with clients for three years and, as a member of the British Psychoanalytic Council, I follow its Standards of Conduct, Practice and Ethics.
I work in rooms in both Borough and Forest Hill in South East London.
Next steps…
If you’re considering therapy, I encourage you to get in touch. Beginning can take courage, and I’d be happy to have an initial 15 minute phone conversation about what you’re looking for and the best way forward. This gives you a chance to ask questions and helps me understand what you’re looking for from therapy.
We can then arrange a 90-minute initial consultation, where we’ll talk in more depth about what has brought you here and whether working together feels right.
If we decide to work together, I offer open-ended therapy once a week. Sessions last 50 minutes, with no set agenda: we’ll work with whatever thoughts, feelings or concerns you bring.
Initial consultation 90 minutes £120
On going 50 minute sessions £80

I also work in Forest Hill in SE23. The rooms at Headroom are comfortable and modern and just 10 minutes walk from Forest Hill train station.
